1. Overview
Activiews is designed with your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled. In short: we do not collect, store, or share any personal information that can identify you. The app runs primarily offline (but requires internet for map access), with no server communication or user tracking that links to your identity. It is built to function transparently and securely on your device only.
2. Minimal Data Collection (Anonymous Analytics)
To improve app performance and understand how features are used, Activiews uses Firebase Analytics. This tool collects anonymous usage data only.
- We track screen views and feature usage events (e.g. which page is used, how long a feature is interacted with).
- No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected — this includes no names, IP addresses, email addresses, device IDs, or health-related data.
- Data collected cannot be linked back to individual users.
- Analytics are solely used to improve the app experience and feature performance.
3. No User Accounts or Personal Information

- Does not collect personal information such as name, email, or contact details
- Does not share data with third parties
4. Use of Apple Health Data
Activiews accesses data from the Apple Health app (cycling, walking, running activities) solely to provide core visual features.
- Health data access is strictly limited to necessary data
- No health data is uploaded, tracked, or shared
- Health data remains local on your device
- Access is granted only after explicit user consent

6. Monetization and Payment
Activiews offers two options to unlock full access to app features:
- Lifetime Access: A one-time in-app purchase of €29.99
- Activiews Plus: A monthly subscription priced at €1.99/month
Details:
- All transactions are securely handled through Apple's App Store.
- No credit card or payment data is accessed or stored by Activiews.
- The monthly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled by the user via their Apple ID account settings.
- Users can cancel the subscription at any time to avoid future charges.
- Refunds follow Apple's official policy.
7. No Third-Party SDKs or Advertisements
Aside from Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage tracking as detailed above), Activiews does not integrate any third-party SDKs or services. Specifically:
- No advertising networks
- No crash reporting or error tracking tools
- No social media integrations
8. Children's Privacy
Activiews does not collect personal data and is safe for users of all ages. However, the app is intended for fitness-minded users interested in personal activity visualization.
9. Changes to This Policy
If there are changes to data handling practices, we will update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted within the app and/or on the App Store listing. Continued use of Activiews implies acceptance of the updated terms.
